Hydro-Vac Units

The Hydro-Vac System offers you a safe, environmentally friendly way to:

• Expose underground lines (line exposing, line locating)
• Conduct slot trenching operations
• Conduct large trenching operations
• Make pile holes

Using a hydro-vac allows a contractor to safely dig utilizing high pressure water to create a slurry, then using the powerful vacuum system to suck up the slurry into the onboard holding tank.

This method of excavating is safe because no equipment (back-hoe buckets, trenchers, etc.) need touch the object you aretrying to expose. This is critical in some operations, such as exposing high pressure gas pipelines or fragile fibre optic cables.

For winter operations, the onboard water is sent through a water boiler system, providing hot water for digging into frozen ground.

As you can see, the hydro-vac system is the contractors first choice in many applications where safe digging is required.
